CAST – Himesh Reshammiya, Naseeruddin Shah, Monica Dogra, Farah Karimaee, Shekhar Kapur and
DIRECTOR – Shawn Arranha
Himesh is back with Tera Suroor that has hit theatres yesterday, 11th March, 2016. The film revolves
around Raghu (Himesh) trying to prove the innocence of Tara (Farah) who’s captive in a Dublin jail for
drug smuggling. Raghu seeks the help of Santino (Naseeruddin Shah) who is a convict who’s made a
living with breaking out of jails around the world. With his guidance, he plans to rescue Tara. The second
half flash backs to Raghu’s childhood and why he turned out to be the person that he is? There are several
plot twists and turns, car chases, action scenes all. Farah looks great on the big screen but she doesnot
have a big role in the film. Himesh does a bit of dialogue baazi.
The writing should have been better. the twists and turns in the second half are way too many to keep a
track of. Himesh’s change of heart after the final revelation in the second half is a bit unconvincing. It is a
typical masala entertainment with great music.
