Second round of judges revealed for Event Technology Awards 2019

Event Technology Awards 2019 (ETA) has revealed its second tranche of judges, 11 names representing all facets of the live events industry.

Among the ETA debutants, Lenny Talarico, executive director (Events) for MGM Resorts Event Productions, brings 20 years’ experience to the table. Talarico has served as the president of ILEA Las Vegas and sits on the Biz Bash Magazine Advisory Board.

Alongside him, Gill Tee is a producer of live music events, and co-founder of the multi-award-winning Black Deer Festival. Tee has charted technology’s impact on a career that has taken her from steering the 100,000 capacity Party in the Park to Hop Farm Festival to Feis in Finsbury Park and far beyond. Gill Tee also runs fencing/barrier specialist, Entertee.

Another big new name on the panel, with a wealth of experience relating to tech start-ups, is Marco Giberti, founder and CEO of Vesuvio Ventures, a specialist in early stage investment.

Event Technology Awards’ Co-Founder, Adam Parry, commented:

“The range of sectors covered by this year’s judging panel is something we’ve worked hard to deliver, together with expanding the geographical reach to better reflect the spread of submissions.

“These steps are part of a targeted approach to maintain the integrity of the process and to ensure that nominees, and the eventual winners, know the decisions are in the hands of people absolutely qualified to make them.”
