Ms Chitwan Malhotra, Founder of World Health Forum and Chairperson & CEO of Livewires Media Group spoke at length about integrating healthcare and education with information technology at a panel on ‘investing in Uttarakhand Summit, Dehradun and shared stage with luminaries like Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi , Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh , Railways Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, Tourism Minister Shri KJ Alphonso, industrialists from ITC, Patanjali, Reliance, Amul and Hero Moto corp and Investors from Japan , Czech Republic, Argentina , Mauritius and Germany.
As a key government speaker, she advocated Digital information Technology as the optimum way of harnessing varied sectors of economy and addressed the session of IT and ITeS at Uttarakhand Investor Summit 2018 along with other panel members at the event. The key Objective of the event was to share the investment opportunities and to seek active participation from the business leaders. The delegation from the state government highlighted the 12 focus sector of the state, which includes food processing, horticulture & floriculture, herbal & aromatic, tourism & hospitality, wellness & AYUSH, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, natural fibres, IT, renewable energy, biotechnology and film shooting.
Her thoughts and ideas resonated with other key panelists including Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister for the ministry of electronics and information technology government of India. Technology can play a revolutionary role in making Ayushman Bharat Yojana launched by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi successful. She firmly believes that every life matters and healthcare should be accessible till the last mile.
