Jewellery is said to be the ‘pride of women’. It is meant to be kept forever, passing onto one generation to other. Generally, women prefer to wear gold, silver and diamond jewellery to flourish their look. So, in order get that long lasting shining effect, it requires a special care too. Follow these tips to avoid your jewellery getting tarnished.
Gold ornaments do not tarnish easily. You just need to clean it twice a month with soft cotton cloth or gentle brush. It should be kept in soft pouches.
Opposite is the case with silver jewelleries. They get tarnish easily as compared to gold. It is advisable to clean them with mild soap or phosphate free detergent.
To maintain the gloss of diamond, it should be soak in mild dish soap with water, once or twice a week, before cleaning. Then, use soft and clean brush to remove the dirt, if any.
