Ardaas Karaan, starring Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal and Sapna Pabbi is ready to set the theatres on fire on 19th July. The Lead cast of the movie, Gippy Grewal and Sapna Pabbi were in the NCR for the release of the new song, ‘Satgur Pyare’ from the movie. The movie explores the idea of a generation gap faced by many families. Three elderly men live in Canada with their families and realize that each generation has a different conflicting opinion about life.
This movie is a sequel of Gippy Grewal’s directorial debut movie ‘Ardaas’, which needs no introduction which had a such a deep impact on each one’s heart and mind, that no sooner this sequel was announced. The makers have left no stone unturned to give the divine insights about the film through dialogue posters, character posters, the first chapter, the film teaser and its latest released devotional song, ‘Satgur Pyare’.
Ardaas, meaning PRAYER, is an ineffable feeling that one just cannot describe. It is strengthening, positive, and has the power to heal. A deeper connection is built when one closes eyes, folds hands and bows down to seek the blessings of the Almighty.
Ardaas Karaan is about spirituality, family values and virtues which we inculcate in our younger ones. Ever since we have entered the modern era, we find a drastic change in the values of the millennial generation. Ardaas Karaan revolves around the lives of 3 old gentlemen who face some conflict of opinions with their family members. This film takes us through various emotional twists, and stirs.
An out and out entertainer with elements and stories drawn from observations about the people’s lives, in general, the film’s stars a plethora of Punjabi actors including Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Japji Khaira, Sapna Pabbi, Sardar Sohi, Rana Jung Bahadur, Meher Vij, Yograj Singh, Malkit Rauni, Gurpreet Kaur Bhangu, and Seema Kaushal. This film has marked the debut of Gippy Grewal’s son Gurfateh Singh Grewal popularly called ‘Shinda’. This cute young actor is believed to have nailed his role in the film.
‘Ardaas Karaan’ is a Humble Motion Picture presentation, written, directed, and produced by Gippy Grewal, co-produced by Ravneet Kaur Grewal. Film’s dialogues have been written by Rana Ranbir, who has also along with Gippy Grewal has written the film’s story and screenplay. Gippy Grewal, a versatile iconic figure has the power to nail every role he is cast into. He has donned the director’s hat, yet again after Ardaas, for this film. The music has been given by Jatinder Shah, and lyrics have been written by Happy Raikoti and Ricky Khan. Renowned singers like Gippy Grewal, Sharry Mann, Ranjit Bawa, Sunidhi Chauhan, Nachhatar Gill, and Devenderpal Singh have lent their voices to the various songs of this film.
The film’s music is released by, Mr. Sumeet Singh owned, Saga Music known for holding a strong vision of offering meaningful cinema to the world, and marking the presence of Punjab as a repertoire of knowledge-worthy content.
